Setting Up Your Cake Shop on Pidiga — Step by Step
You bake the cakes. Pidiga handles the store. Here's how to go from zero to your first online order in under 30 minutes.
Create your account
Go to pidiga.com/dashboard/login and click Create account. Enter your name, email, and a password. You'll be taken to the setup wizard.
Set up your store
The setup wizard will ask for your business name and a short URL slug. For example, if your business is Priya's Cakes, your store could be at pidiga.com/store/priyas-cakes.
Pick a template — Artisan works great for baked goods (warm, earthy tones). You can change it any time.
Add your first products
Go to Catalog in the left menu. You have two ways to add products:
Option A — Photo upload (fastest)
Click the image icon on the Add Product form. Upload a photo of your cake. The AI will automatically fill in the name, description, and a suggested price. Just review and save.
Option B — Type it in the chat
Open the AI chat and type: “Add: Dark Chocolate Truffle Cake, ₹650, stock 3”
Add at least 3–5 products to make your store look full.
Set your prices
A few pricing tips for home bakers:
- Whole cakes: ₹400–₹1,200 depending on size and flavour
- Cupcakes (pack of 6): ₹250–₹450
- Custom orders: list at a base price, note “custom pricing available”
Update any price anytime: “Update Red Velvet Cake price to ₹750”
Go live
Go to Store in the sidebar and click Go live. Your store is now visible to buyers at your store link.
Share the link in your WhatsApp status, Instagram bio, and with your regular customers. That's it — you're open for business.
Receiving orders
When someone places an order, it shows up under Orders. You'll see the buyer's name, phone number, and what they ordered.
For Cash on Delivery, call the buyer to confirm then mark it as Processing, then Delivered. Or let the AI do it:
Managing stock
Cakes are made fresh, so your stock changes daily. Update quickly through chat:
